Your Board

The members of the board of trustees are elected each year at the annual meeting.  Each trustee serves a three (3) year term and may serve two (2) consecutive terms as detailed in the Unity of Little Rock bylaws.  The board meets monthly and is responsible for the business of the community. 

Rev. Beverly Pryor, Board President & Treasurer

Rev. Beverly Pryor is a licensed and ordained Unity minister. Rev. Pryor offers a unique blend of spirituality, science, mysticism, and metaphysics in her talks. She found Unity in 1996 (yes, 30 years ago!) when she unknowingly stepped through the doors of Unity of Dallas. Like many others, she immediately felt she was home. Rev. Beverly is employed by Unity Worldwide Ministries (UWM) on the Member Support Team. She manages the Minister of Record (MOR) Program, working with ministers and community leaders to support them through transition, with administration, and conflict management. She is a member of the UWM Ministry Consulting and Credentialing teams. She serves as a mentor in the UWM Special Dispensation Program. She also supports Unity of Little Rock as a Sunday speaker. Prior to moving to Little Rock in 2021, "RevBev" as she was referred to at Unity of the Hill Country (UHC) in Kerrville, Texas, served as UHC’s minister for three (3) years. While in Kerrville, she adopted her dog, Carli. Rev. Beverly moved to Kerrville from Dallas where she was an active Licensed Unity Teacher (LUT) for over thirteen (13) years at Unity of Dallas (UoD) and a member for over twenty (20) years. As a LUT, she enjoyed teaching Spiritual Education and Enrichment (SEE) classes, speaking, teaching meditation, offering special services and sacred ceremonies, and more. Concurrently, Rev. Pryor enjoyed a successful twenty-five (25) year career in global telecommunications.

Jean McGehee, Board Secretary

Jeanie McGehee grew up in Little Rock. She also lived in Atlanta, Georgia, Texas, and Flagstaff, Arizona. Along the way, she raised her two children, Mitch and Jillian, Progressing from middle school math teacher to a PhD. in Mathematics Education, Jeanie returned to Little Rock in 1997 to be with family and to work at the University of Central Arkansas (1997-2017). She continues making a difference in Arkansas schools through her consulting work. In 2000, Ms. McGehee found a spiritual home in Unity of Little Rock (ULR). Jeanie enjoys being a frequent Sunday speaker. She served as ULR board president or treasurer for much of the time between 2008 and 2025. She presently serves as board secretary. Jeanie believes, “Serving Unity has taught me, ‘It is the Christ-within who does the work.’"

Dave Allgeyer, Board Member

Dave has been a “Unitic” since 2000. He is a retired teacher who taught art and design at all levels (mostly 7, 9, & 10th grades). Born in St. Louis, MO, he graduated from college at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). Dave enjoys Tai Chi, yoga, and Qi Gong as both a teacher and a student. His interests include nutrition, fitness, crystals, rocks, and music. Dave loves to play the flute, guitar, singing bowls, and other vibe-raising instruments.

Rev. Russ Jackman, Minister of Record

Rev. Dr. Russ Jackman brings to his ministry almost four decades of experience helping individuals and communities awaken to their wholeness in body, mind, and spirit. Ordained through Unity Worldwide Ministries in 2022, Rev. Russ currently serves as Minister of Record at Unity of Little Rock, where he has guided the congregation through seasons of renewal, growth, and reconnection. His ministry is rooted in Unity’s timeless principles of Oneness, Love, and personal empowerment, and animated by a deep belief that spiritual community is both sanctuary and catalyst for transformation. Before ministry, Rev. Russ served for over 38 years as a Chiropractic Physician in private practice. His holistic, integrated approach emphasized the balance of body, mind, and spirit as the foundation for lasting well-being. Through community wellness programs, meditation classes, and stress-reduction workshops, he has empowered thousands to take an active role in their own healing journeys.

Board Meetings

The board typically meets on the second Saturday of each month.

Monthly Board Reports

The board provides monthly updates to the community on the Sunday after the service following the most recent board meeting.
