The Sacred No

A way to understand spiritual growth is by what we say yes to: love, peace, possibility, and a fuller expression of who we are. But every meaningful yes may also ask something of us: What am I saying no to? Sometimes choosing what we want to embrace also means recognizing what we are ready to leave behind.

A Sacred No isn't about rejection, resistance, or shutting life out. It's about becoming conscious of where we give our attention, energy, and power. Sometimes an old story, familiar fear, or well-worn pattern simply doesn't deserve another yes.

Let's explore the spiritual power of Will and the relationship between our "yes" and our "no." What might we need to stop cooperating with in order to live more fully into what we've already said yes to? Sometimes a Sacred No is how we make room for a deeper yes.
